Block Panchayat

• President
  • The President is the chief administrative head of the Panchayat. They provide leadership for the development activities and administrative procedures of the Panchayat.
• Vice President
  • Provides cooperation and support in administrative activities. In the absence of the President, the Vice President discharges the duties of administration.

Standing Committees

Standing Committees are committees that control and manage development, finance, health, and education activities within the Panchayat.

• Development Standing Committee
  • Implements the development projects of the Panchayat. It aims at public welfare and infrastructure development.
• Finance Standing Committee
  • The committee that controls and monitors the income and expenditure of the Panchayat.
• Health and Education Standing Committee
  • The committee responsible for managing and overseeing health and educational activities.
• Welfare Standing Committee
  • Implements public welfare schemes. It focuses on social security and welfare activities.

Other Sub-Committees

• Committees formed specifically to handle activities in specialized sectors. They provide support to various projects.
